One of my favorite things...

Easter Egg decorating time!! I can't believe how fast the past year has flown by. It feels like it was only a few weeks ago when my sister Erin and I decorated eggs with my little nephew Merrik Man. I thought I would share some of the colorful photos to maybe give some inspiration to get those coloring kits out. A happy memory. HOPPY EASTER xoxo

My first blog!! So exciting...

My 1st adventure & 22 weeks 5 days preggo - since week 6 of my pregnancy, I've been laid up in bed pretty much 24 hours/day, with the exception of running to the bathroom to be sick. I've put in a lot of time learning new recipes via FoodNetwork and learning what Oprah has to share. My creative itch has been driving me nutso! Not being able to create has been so frustrating. I managed to slowly set-up my little scrapbooking room over the course of a few very long weeks and did conquer a few cherished pages. Now that I'm 100% of the time at our new home I've been itching to start on projects all over the house, but am constantly held down by the morning sickness. Since we still need to tackle packing and moving my things from my condo, which will have to wait until I'm more mobile, I have decided to tackle two things at the new house. I'm very excited!! Design the baby nursery and hunt for yellow and white chevron or ikat fabric for draperies in the master bedroom. Having so much fun being creative with colors and ideas for the nursery, just need to pick something and go for it now. Not an easy feat, I'm learning, to find the drapery fabric for our room (it would help if I was blessed with a little bit of patience though, I tend to just wish I could jump forward to the finished product). I'm going to use this adventure to start to teach myself to enjoy the designing process :) and I'm going to attempt to enlist the help of my Aunt, who has wonderful connections in the design world here. I'll let you know how it goes! I can't wait to pull out the old sewing machine after ? years. :)
Here are some ideas I ran across on the net yesterday for pillows to use in either the nursery or master, I think they are all from West Elm ... love, LOVE, LOVE these! Enjoy!
